Bethel Park
Ball fields, a covered pavilion, a playground and open green space — on the church campus in Conyers, and shared with our neighbours by arrangement.
Bethel Park is where a good deal of the life of this church happens outside of Sunday morning. Three ball fields — Farmer, Johnson and Hays — host Rockdale Christian Youth Softball every spring. The covered pavilion and concession building carry the Fall Festival, church cookouts and team suppers. There’s a playground under the trees for younger children, and open green space with walking paths around the edges.
We love sharing the park with our neighbours, and you don’t need to be a member or to have ever been to a service. Bethel Park is private property, though, so use is by arrangement — send a request below, or call the office and we’ll get you on the calendar.
- Park hours
- Dawn to dusk, typically 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Closed to general use at all other times.
- Scheduled use
- Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Sunday, 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM. - Softball season
- January 1 – May 31: the park is reserved for RCYS and closed to unscheduled use.
- Park rules
- Everyone using the park is asked to follow the park rules.
That’s part of what we mean by a place to call home: not just a building you visit on Sunday, but ground this whole community can use.
